The FuseBox EV40AX consumer unit is expertly designed to supply and protect any electric vehicle (EV) charging point. It comes equipped with a 100A main switch isolator, a Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD), a 32A Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB), and a 40A Type A Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent (RCBO). This ensures that your EV charging setup is both safe and efficient.
FuseBox has developed a range of consumer units that are highly appreciated by UK electricians. This range includes main switch units, dual RCD units, electric vehicle units, and isolation consumer units, along with a variety of devices such as RCBOs, MCBs, AFDDs, and accessories. The EV40AX is part of this versatile and reliable lineup.
Key features of the FuseBox EV40AX include its compatibility with TNC-S, TNC, and TT systems, making it suitable for various installation environments. The unit also features a removable DIN rail and easy-to-remove round knock-outs on all sides for flexible installation. The front cover is secured with captive screws, ensuring easy access and a secure fit. Finished in a stylish white powder coating (RAL 9001), the unit measures 255mm in height, 156mm in width, and 87mm in depth, providing a durable and professional appearance.
